It is a REALLY fun track, IMO.

Just looked at Cimmaron region website. We area running track backwards, i.e. clockwise this year.

Do the track times impove going CW? For some reason it seams it may be a bit faster that direction - but since I've only been there once I have no freaken idea......

I think most people run a tad slower (maybe 1 sec) going CW, which some have attributed to the fact that you are going pretty slow when you start up the hill between T2 and T1, compared to when you are going CCW.

Interestingly, T10 which is a single, late apex carousel going CCW, becomes a double apex turn going CW.

Depends on your car. In a standard FM going CW , it's marginally quicker to single apex with a very late turn in. Can go to power a little earlier. Worth it to try it both ways.

I should be there. I usually run right at one second faster in the CW direction. I cary more speed out of the bitch down to 6. I love CW. Been a while but should come back to me in about 2 laps
That said, Ive never raced in that direction so Ill have to think where the best overtaking places are in that direction. If brakes are good, down into the bitch should be an interesting place to get out braked. There will be some going off right there.

I'll pedal as fast as I can! Should be fun. Never done the track CW before.

was there with the Pumpkin this weekend with the BMW boys. had a great time, a great event as always. They ran Friday morning CW just for fun. To be honest, I didn't like it, the Pumpkin LOVES the track going CCW.

Of course it might just be that I have no experience going that way and maybe it will grow on me.... jury is out as far as I am concerned.

In the end it dont matter, track time is track time and we will be there.
