"Flat out" describes the topless photo shoot Danica Patrick did recently.

The Flying Lizards came to the PorschePlatz tent at Mosport to talk to the assembled PCA members. One of the questions was to Patrick Long. "What's your strategy?" He smiled and said "I'm going to drive flat out, plain flat out" and grinned again.

The Boston Globe had an article about the Boston Red Sox and a nice catch made by their center fielder.
Described it as Diving Flat Out.
My first thought was 'this damn phrase is everywhere' until I read more closely.
Its amazing how many chuckles this simple video has caused. My continuing admiration.

Flat out is how I manage to deal with those 5 point harnesses, as I once explained to a curious instructor...

Baron passed me before the octopus , so I got to follow him threw I thought he was driving a sprint car as he just threw it sideways and drifted through the corner. That Was Flat Out.

Flat out is: " I have driven 200mph on the Autobahn at night, in the rain, in a Caterham, therefore I should be moved to the fastest run group"....and if you were right behind me in a Miata it must have been turbo charged.
