As an instructor, I hate it when I'm nagging them to push the @#$@% gas pedal already, and they break that news to me :-)

I had the opportunity to instruct the creator's spouse a few years ago in the same reddish 9... 44. I believe it was one of her first events.
Getting up to speed on the first couple of laps and onto the main straight, I told her it's OK to floor it.
Her response: "I've had it floored for 10 seconds."

Answer, "at corner entry!!!"

I did pass an F40 at Sebring one time in my 914 GT. You should've seen that guys face. I think he was flat out.

And to think that when 944s came out they were at least mid-pack, acceleration-wise, with what showed up. I have pictures from time trials with an abundance of 356 Normals, 914 1.7s, and 924s. Hell, a good running 912 was considered kinda quick, and a 2.2T was really fast!

Glad you guys liked the video.
Be careful there Jerome, she's put a lot of work into the appearance of the 9....44. You can call the car slow, you can call her slow, but you have to admit our car is actually shiny and red.
