An awesome weekend of driving, camaraderie, racing, wrenching, photo shooting attempts... and more racing, driving and photo shoots, then rinse and repeat!

Thank you to the Rocky Mountain Region for hosting a fine event and warm hospitality.

What a GREAT venue!! Kind of like 'racing camp' -- drivers sleep in RV's, cars parked outside.
The 'Texas Embassy' was directly across from the Pavilion and right down the road from the grid and pit in... Pit in to a very technical and fast track!

SPECIAL thank you and recognition to the Texas Caravan, planners, drivers and support crew!

This is my third attempt to post a few images. More will follow.
I can only hope you will allow me another opportunity or two to get my new skill set up to speed. Did someone say 'Hallett?'

Kim- great to finally meet you, it was a great weekend of racing. Rocky Mountain region and High Plains Raceway did a great job. I am looking forward to next year!

The on-the-road pic was one of (only) two times that we had the opportunity to 'come from behind' and resume Pace Car position
This time was right after #287 continued as #70... in Limon, CO.

Speaking for all the Rocky Mountain Region racers/DE folks, we enjoyed seeing all you old and new Texas friends at our tidy little track on the High Plains. Your presence made the event a rousing success. I hope you had as much fun as we did. Actually I'm sure you did since you pretty much swept E and showed the way in Spec Boxster as well.

Even though we didn't stay the night out there since we're locals, this event definitely had a certain back in the day folksy feel to it. As I walked through on Sunday morning it reminded me of when I was a kid camping out in the paddock at Sears Point with my best friend and his dad. I'm really happy we've got such a great "down home" venue here now and it was great to see all those Boxsters running around the track.

Wish I could have gone. I drove by there on my way back from vacation in Brec. My car is still being re worked by Chris C. Hoping to make the Hallett race but its gonna be close.
