Send them back get new ones. Your seller should be able to help. A year back they had some issues with extra molding material around the bead seating area and the tires would leak like crazy when mounted. Worked with the seller and sent them back to the factory and got new ones.
It is part of the QA aspect. They need to learn when something is wrong so they can fix it.

I've put a call into Hoosier USA and I'm going to see if they can do anything for me. It will be a good opportunity to lean about their customer support before I start stocking these tires to sell to actual customers.

just had this happen on my dads GT3 on his hoos on stock wheels, i bet your just running too much camber for the sidewal stiffness, or jsut the geometry of the suspension, what car is it on.
I run hoos on my car and have never had this happen to any set i am jsut below 2deg camber as well.
Very strange but if you do find its a manufacturing glitch let me know cause ill be making the call to them shortly after. he only had about 8 or 9 heat cycles on his and does not drive them all that hard if you ask me.

I've talked to Hoosier and they want to see the tires, they've been really good about it. Apparently, Hoosier hand constructs all their tires and they like to know if there are any issues.
Anyway, they're going to take a look and tell me what they find. May have a credit in it for me.
As for setup and pressures, I got the details directly from hoosier. They told me what to run for camber and pressures.

Hey;
The OP wear looks decent, although I can't tell from the pic which is inside or outside. It appears the tire is splitting at the junction between the tread cap and sidewall cap layers (they are different layers with compounds and put on separately). I've seen this, but never to that extent. I'd wager there is a slight problem there that Hoosier may be interested in seeing, not that that haven't seen it before, no doubt.
The other tires pictured look like they have been overheated on the shoulder and have blistered and/or delaminated. That's what it looks like, without knowing anything but what I see.

ATR911---what did they tell you to run for pressures.
I agree that it looks like a manufact defect. shoulders and wear looks good.
I have been using sqame and have had no probs.

John, I have a 315 with similar issue. The difference is my tire is much cleaner, more tread and the split is larger and in one place. Tire is being inspected this weekend at a race by a Hoosier rep. I will report the findings.
