Gents,
I need to share this. I just learned my friend Ed Healey died after a bout of cancer. He died in hospice yesterday.
Ed Healey was an Irishman living next to the Nurburgring. Not only a true gentleman, but a devoted father and lover of all things motorsports. I am very saddened by this news. We talked for years about me making a trip to the N'Ring, but I never seemed to get a chance. So Gents, please raise a glass and say a quiet prayer for a fellow motorsports & Porsche nut. God speed my friend. We'll miss you.

WOW! Terribly sorry to hear about this. I met Ed through a local friend in NJ. Long story, but I met Ed in Ireland last summer to discuss the Nurburgring Nordschleife. We had a great time together. We also communicated through emails as Ed was very helpful with lots of Ring stuff. Though my time with Ed was brief, he was no doubt a really nice guy to share Porsche experiences with.
I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Chad, I didn't know him, but I am very sorry to hear of your loss of a good friend and for his family losing a loved one. Please accept my condolences. Too many good people being lost to cancer lately (we lost rennlister deep_uv a.k.a. Steve Thornton to cancer in June). RIP.
