Here are the turns as there were numbered on the large track map in the classroom... Obviously the numbering must change when the turn 3 chicane is use (or maybe it's 3a, 3b and 3c...) Anyhow, this should keep our conversation consistent.

do you mean flat from 5-7 meaning flat through T6 or flat through T7 as well?

I lifted in T6, but I think it's flat for a D car. I just don't have the *****.

Yikes. Not only do I lift at T6, I also brake. Too often I ended up beyond the exit curb by going too fast.... and eating too much inside curb by turning too quickly because of my fear of crashing at the exit... Perverse. I know. :-(

According to Traqmate's "turn radius" plots, here are the minimum values for the radii I drove:
T3 = 530 feet
T4 = 345 feet
T6 = 310 feet
T7 = 225 feet

Obviously, if I drove more on the curbs, I could make a turn's radius larger...

Here are my minimum speeds for each of those corners:
T3 = 86 MPH
T4 = 71 MPH
T6 = 65 MPH
T7 = 60 MPH

I wonder if there's a formula or calculation based on those to say, "I have 6 more MPH on the table in T4 - or something like that..."?

Well one thing you can look at on the Traqmate for cornerspeeds is your lateral accelerations. With the exception of 1-2 and 7 the rest of the track is pretty pancake and i'd expect similar lateral g's at most of the turns. I'd look at that to see how consistent you are getting to the edges of your friction circle. That can lead you to which turns you may be able to bring more speed through. i haven't looked at my data for a while and it's on a computer which is nowhere near me so this is just assumption.

If you want to send me the Traqmate file I'd be happy to take a look at it as well.

Okay, I'm impressed with the stock cars that take T-6 flat, if they do. At the end of my two races on the pro weekend I couldn't do it consistently as the car would just push through corner exit right out to the dirt.

Like I said, I think it's flat but I didn't try nor do I know of any car in a stock class that did. But, it can be done with a lift for sure.
