With all the talk about the data acquisition systems where are people putting the GPS antenna?
Have the Traqmate system for the last two years, I simply bought a suction cup mount and installed it on the inside of the windshield.
But I'm thinking of relocating it to the outside and was wondering where others have mounted it and routed the wiring.

On the front cowl down by the base of the windshield is fine.
We used to mount the AiM Mychron 4 GPS antenna on the front (plastic) nose panel of my son's karts, worked just fine (not on a metal surface).
The downside is for every hour he spent on track, I would spend about 8 hours reviewing and analyzing data...it is a fantastic tool.
