Default Nord Stern Region PCA DE at Road America

Registration is now open on Clubregistration.net for the Nord Stern PCA region DE at Road America, Monday and Tuesday, July 12th and 13th.
Get you and your car dialed in for Chicago Region's annual Labor Day club race at a relaxed event with tons of track time.
I've been told by the track that Nord Stern region charges the lowest registration fee for anyone holding a two day event at Road America - $325 for PCA members for the two days, $365 for non PCA members.
Always a fun time.

Now that nationwide has been there, we have something to compare ourselves against.

Nord Stern has 4 track events at BIR each year. Just had a DE event there 18-20 June, next one will be the PCA Club Race on 29 Jul-1 Aug.

But we also squeeze in this DE at Road America in mid July.

I really wish I could join you guys. I did a road trip to Mpls, and worked this event in on the way about six years ago. It was an advanced event but one of the NS members either graciously or naively took a ride with me to show me which way to turn. A weekend wasn't nearly enough time for me to figure out much beyond that but it was a blast trying. The memory of trying to push it to the limit in turn five there is still one of the most vivid I have in a car. A close second was of giving a pass, with turn signals (a first for me), and trying to remember which way to flash right at the kink.

I really need to get back there some time.

Note that the posting about the open track day on July 19th is trumpeting that it's such a great deal at $300 for only one day. Compare that to Nord Stern's low, low price of $325 for PCA members for two days!

Used to be my favorite DE all year. Great track and a club that treats participants like adults. Wish it was less than 1,100 miles from Denver.

From our trip last year. Down a few people, but this year we should be back up to almost full capacity coming from KC and SD
