Default Video Integrated With Racepak IQ3

I'm considering buying a GoPro camera and plan to integrate video with the IQ3

Is anyone doing this and is it a hassle? I want to keep it as "Idiot" prove as possible.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions....

Pretty simple to integrate video with the racepak software. Just create your run file, set up your track map, open up a data channel, and then use the "import video" tab. I use a POV-1, which creates relatively small .avi files. Not sure how the software will handle larger HD video files. Also, remember that you have to be in time mode, rather than distance or segment mode to sync the video (took me a while to figure that out).

I typically use my lateral G trace to sync the video (find some easy reference, like the first turn after the pits). Once sync'd up, you can leave a small video window open, which will always link up to any data channel that your viewing. It's also pretty simple to export to trackvision (again just push the export to trackvision button).
