? regarding install of OMP HTE or Carbon Plus seat
I have an 04 gt3 and I need to know what parts are needed to install the seat. Omp has option for sliders which I want and the side mounts. My question is I've talked to Linda of Apex Performance with respect to the sliders that it needs to be mounted on a flat surface so what is needed to get a flat surface. Also with respect to substrap mount I plan to bolt to the floor but are there subbars that
mount to the seat rail? Ne info would be appreciated. TIA. Mike

Bringing this thread back from the dead to see if anyone can share some insight into sub strap mounting for an OMP side mount/slider on a 996 GT3. I've searched around but only found good info for the factory Euro seats - nothing conclusive for OMP.
I've installed a set of OMP HTE seats with OMP mounts and sliders, but am looking for specifics on dealing with the sub mounts. Am I correct in assuming that the 6.GT3 does not have holes in the floor pre-drilled for eye hooks, but that the 7.GT3 does? I certainly didn't see any.
I'd prefer to not do any drilling, so I think a bar would work best, but I'm unsure what I can use with these sliders. Anyone have experience with their slides? Do you think I can fit a B-K bar as the slider width will be the same, regardless of manufacturer?

I still haven't done too many miles in them as the car's been hibernating for most of the winter, but I'm very happy with them so far. These certainly balance heavier on the performance side vs. the comfort side, and the halos make it tricky to check your blind spot. Everyone's level of sacrifice is different, but for a daily driver I'd probably go with something a little more friendly. Most of my street miles on this car will be traveling to/from the track.
