Pretty sure all the Porsche people will be parked together. GrandAm is very organized with how they park people and have stuffed low level support groups off in the far reaches of a paddock but all together.

I took a close look at this event, but decided to bail. I'm sure you guys will have a good time. It will be fun to run in front of so many spectators, even if they'll be either arriving or leaving when you race! Don't expect a class structure, either, it's all just one run group for PCA, so I didn't see the sense in flogging around at the back using up good Hoosiers....I'll be watching tho, and maybe there will be a clip on TV. I'll look forward to the posts, too.

Won't be the greatest "Club Race" weekend, but I am really looking forward to the experience. How close do you have to get to pro drivers for some talent to rub off?

I signed up. Hoping we can all have fun and folks don't think this is some 'audition' for a grand-am ride.

The GrandAm scouts are usually found at registration seeing who has the nicest signature on a check. Let's hope that NJMP does a better job marketing this weekend than they did for the TransAm weekend. I think there were 12 spectators total that weekend.

Any chance those 12 spectators came out to watch an 8am race?

the Metro region of PCA is running a DE event over at lightning that same saturday and sunday. That should add some spectators to the event. I signed up to do the DE on saturday just to get some track time due to the fact that we just have a 20 minute qualifying session saturday at 8am. i figure after qualifying i can just drive the race car on over to the other side and have some fun with the DE folks!

Is it confirmed that we will run the chicane?

I pretty much figured track time would be far less for this event compared with other Club Races.

We should assemble a parking spot for the PCA racers.

Finally, without a garage we better pray for great weather. Last years race had rain and it was nice being in the garage between races.

We will run the chicane. We've been using it at our DEs to practice. It's actually kind of fun. PCA parking will be down in the turn 1 area. No garages, Grand Am will have them.
