WTF on the enduro? What pass under yellow? How do I find out the exact lap and moment of this after the fact penalty? ....so I don't have to watch 90 mins of video?

 

Take out the x51 3.8 motor

 

Scan forward and look for the yellow flags and the pace car, then back up to see where you passed a backmarker.

The rule book penalty for a pass under yellow is a stop and go. If there is no time to do this then it is a one lap penalty after the race. Based on that I would concentrate your reiew on the last 3 or 4 laps of the enduro.

My guess is that somebody (who had video) complained after the enduro. My experience, and especially at Watkins Glen, is that passing under yellow is rarely called in. Fortunately, whenever it has occurred to me, I've either sucked so bad that it didn't make a difference, or I was able to make the position back.

 

Ok, found it.
I think is a BS Call (the sole soul that complained was given the right to be the owner of the only truth).

What do you think? (Pass is made after the incident car is seen and pass and next station on the left doesnt have a yellow flag


This is what the rulebook says:

SAFETY Section 31 (Flags):

Yellow: Caution. Stationary hazard ahead, no passing. Waving Danger, slow downStrek
safely, no passing. NOTE: You may not pass after the yellow flag until after the reason for theStrek
flag has been passed and you are sure that there are no further incidents between that pointStrek
and the next flag station which is not displaying a yellow flag.Strek

 

Ouch - I hope there was something else, because that looks like a legal pass to me.
