I've never driven VIR before, but I'm planning to attend. What kind of camping accomodations are there, in the way of showers and entering/leaving the track at night?

Camping will be available at VIR. Camping Fees are as follows:
Zone 2 Camping Fees (Payable at Race/DE check-in to receive parking permit. You cannot camp without a Zone 2 parking permit):
$90 for RV/Motorcoaches
$45 for tents
Zone 2 camping fees help to pay for the additional security required by VIR to allow participants to stay in the paddock overnight.
In addition to the Zone 2 Camping Fees there are also VIR Camping Fees:
Each Tent will be charged $35 and RV, motorcoachs will be charged $50 to camp for the entire weekend. That includes electricity. Those not camping but using electricity will be charged $25 for the weekend. Those fees are collected by VIR at arrival at the Front Gate.
VIR has showers in the Paddock. Since they have a lodge at the track I believe there is 24 hour access at the gate.
