We are now racing that car in ALMS GTC Competition: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...&id=1355545673

Are you still looking for another car potentially?

No, not at this time. I need to come to grips with what I've got. Looking forward to the club race at the Glen. Cort's coming to give me a hand.

Please tell me a little about the three ring motor in your car. I'll need a rebuild soon enough, and I'm thinking about a 3.8 liter WC spec from PMNA.

Thanks.

It's a great option for the WC spec motors as you get a nice wide Hp and Trq curve, while adding longevity to the motor (up to 50 hours) since there is a little less compression with the 3 ring pistons. It helps to have the newer WC spec headers and exhaust for the 3.8 motor as that is how you will get the most power but we just upgraded a 3.6 WC motor (Pobst's 2007 WC car) to this new spec for the client and he will love it! (He hasn't gotten the car back yet as it's going to Hong Kong).
For WC, when going to this motor, you can remove the previous restrictor (with 2 ring RSR pistons) and 50lbs, so this is a great alternative to make these cars more affordable to run.

And lastly, this spec motor was just approved for both WC and ALMS GTC, so there are several options for these cars!

James,

Saw the long beach gp on Versus, the GMG Porsche's looked really good. When is that fresh Cup car going to debut, and who will be driving it?
