WHY IS THE SPEC BOXSTER SMACKTALK THREAD LOCKED?????????? CENSORSHIP?

If there is a spec boxster in the 2.14s at the Glen I will be surprised. I think they're capable, but haven't been a heck of a lot faster than spec miatas yet. Lap record for a miata at the Glen is 2.17. Mere still "top of the sheets" miatas are around 2.19-2.20.

Iapallucio and Boyer will run 14s by the end of practices Friday i am pretty sure.

These cars will be much faster than miatas. I continue to believe these cars should be identical to top D or E cars especially when you consider the quality of the drivers.

It is very possible......

I ran with Mike yesterday in not perfect weather conditions and without pushing too hard we saw 16s......

His SPBOX definetly has potential.......

Mike gets fast lap times in race conditions... He'll find 2 seconds no problem. And Charlie will show up ready for battle.

He was asking if you got any lap times, also wanted to know how big a speeding ticket you got on the way home!
