Leh, did you break the the actual u-shape mount bolted to the rear subframe? because if you did, this is the 2nd one broken on a GT2/GT3 car in less than a month. If you cannot extract the broken bolt from the subframe, drill fully and do a long bolt/nut conversion to get you going.

Good luck with the fix.

Anyone for some mild carnage pictures. It was the actual swaybar perch that broke (as you can see in the pictures) Doug will get it fixed! This is one place that he is honestly a complete genius!

Read what Doug had to say about on the Blog

Wouldn't be One Lap without some adversity. Here's hoping the fix will hold up on the axle boot! I think you can get it done without the swaybar if necessary, but hopefully you can get them both fixed.

Cicio, you sure the car isn't for sale NOW?

Thanks for the updates guys, great stuff. Is Bond doing this solo or is his co-driver just not listed? He is a local PCA guy so have to root for him as part of the Porsche contingent

In car from the Gateway session is up. Wow its crazy how loose the car was...you can totally see it on the video. How he pulled this one out of his *** I have no idea, but I am sure thankful. Definitely no traction control on this car!!!

Doug just pulld an all nighter. They Fab'd up a new bracket. Bigger. Better. And he took the axle off and gave it a good look through. Re greased and rebuilt the boot. He is the Man... and currently passd out next to me like a baby.

We r headin to mid o now.

I got 3 hours of sleep on tbe shop floor.

It wasn't the deer, it was the flick, flick, flick, Oh Sh** I forgot the trailer that started it all.

It was four million things that could have gone different that day from the time that last event ended until the time I hit the deer. Lost cellphone, Porsche dealer that was no help and wasted a lot of our time, etc. *sigh*

But yeah, a dumbass trailer incident could also be considered for a chunk of the blame.

I like how u calld the trailer a dumass.........

Today was great. We beat the gtr by 9 seconds in both events. And the vette snuk infront of him in the 2nd session.

The car really liked mid o. And we really have been making progress with the setup. With a swaybar is fantastic to drive.

We did a 1:32 on the pro course!. (No chicane)
