Lots of stock class cars under 1:00. That is impressive. I have always heard that the 1:00 mark is the Maginot Line everyone strives to break through.

How many SPBs were there? I've heard there could be 12 plus at WG.

Carlos,

Those times are FAST!! Why did your Cayman get moved to I class? What class will you run at the Glen?

I misread post #5, he says "Mike I and Charlie went at it in SpecBox...." I thought that meant three people.

Looks like the SP3s were in a different group than the usual?
Sean, have we seen a picture of your spec Box?
SP3's ran in the Green group with the F class and SpecBox guys. Hubell won both sprints and finished 3rd or 4th overall in both sprints I believe. He started in the 2nd row both races and posted some great times. It was a great weekend for the Speedwerk-NY guys!

Nice work, Doug, my sources tell me that there were quite a few really fast Boxster S's, great to see you atop that list!

I just can't find the results. Does anybody can tell me where we could find them?

Any accidents? Pictures?

Thanks

Charles

Thanks!
I started racing in H Stock on practice day but was a good chunk ahead of others in class (and the other Stock cars) so decided for race day to put the Rear Wing and move up to I Prepared and have a more fair chance against the heavily modded GT4 Cars. Downforce (or lack of lift) is critical at LRP.

you'll have to excuse my bias, I'm more of a 964/993 lover but here's my take on Sat.
The obligatory pic of Bob S. car I love it. Unfortunately it was the only 964Cup that I could find this year. What a shame

A number of 993Cups

A couple of very nicely turned out Caymans

Some very nicely done 964s

Dan J's son was doing a great job til he was black flagged, I later heard it was for a cool suit leak

Seemed like 1/2 the cars were 996/997 Cups

Unfortunately there was also some drama, everyone was ok

Fields were well populated, this is only 1/2 the field

Thanks for posting photos, you're gonna take heat for posting wrecks, but I don't have a problem with it.

Yeah Bill, posting pictures of wrecks without the owners OK is not really a good idea...

You certainly could have taken some of me, I was parked for 99% of the 1st Sprint!
