The track is very fast and people are flying. Several D cars did 1:00's with one 1:00 flat (Del). There will be 59's in D tomorrow if the weather is the same as today, and probably a couple. Bela is flying in his first race weekend with a 1:00.4. Fred did a 1:00.2. Running unmuffled is making a big difference.

Mike I and Charlie went at it pretty good today in Spec Boxster in the fun race. They're going to have some great races tomorrow. They got in the low 1:01's I think.

I think I heard that Musante did a 53.99 today.

Saw a 59.5 in G.
59.2 here for H Stock and jumping to I Prepared tomorrow and if all goes well down to 58s.
I think all E and up Track records will be under 1:00.
Great weather, should be good for both Sprints.

Was absolutely perfect weather and track conditions both days, not sure of final times/records as I left before the final Sprint. We had set up a fantastic lineup with qual times just tenths apart for the mortals in D up to the 4th row where I sat with Chris Taylor. Went great for the start then I had some mechanical issues and only got 1 lap in which put me back near the end of the start for Sprint #2. Wasn't going to run but some friends jumped in, took apart a kind visitor's street car and back out I went! Never got anywhere near the front (started 21st!) but had a good time and tried to put on a good show for the hillside viewers.. Thanks to Bela and Mark for the fix, great job to all for a well done event!

It was a great race weekend with awesome weather, track conditions and competition. I was shocked at the lap times of the podium F cars, sub 1:00 minute in qualifying. Missed the podium by 1 but relatively pleased with the outcome.

Kudo's to CVR for providing such a great event!
