This is old news. It was proposed some time in the offseason and will never be implemented, for obvious reasons.

Yeah I'm sure track's like Spa, Monza etc woud love to install some new surface so Bernie's plan could be implemented. Or would they just use the tractor trailer tires that Speed GT used a few years ago?

How many F1 races is Fox going to show this year? If any.
Wonder if Fox will be rethinking F1 and just let F1 be aired on SpeedTV if this 'excitement' in F1 keeps up.
Too bad the TV stations can't renegotiate pricing now that the season has started.

speaking of smoke screens -- I have personal interest in this race as we had the best result here at this race -- we finished 7th. Lap down, but finished 7th

Bernie's just hacking into our local list or has a mole.

Last August, during the BMW Club Race at Thunderhill, the Sunday race was scheduled to use the bypass. (The DE would go over the top both days.) So the racers go out for their first session, and no one moved the cones to direct them to the bypass. On the pit wall, I mentioned that they should run the race normally, over the top, with maybe 3 chances during the race to use the bypass.
