Ontrack recently increased their rates ~13% and they doubled the deductible. They will go to a higher agreed value than Lockton though. If you buy three policies at once they will knock off 10%.
Will have to look up GreatAmerican and Leland west. I have never heard of them.
EDIT: Looks like Great American is OnTrackinsurance.com. Also looks like Leland West is affiliated with Jacob Katz Co. who is Ontrack.

This is Ryan Staub from the Lockton HPDE Insurance program (the PCA endorsed program). In case you didn't notice, we reduced our deductible in March 2012 from 10% to 5%.

Thanks Ryan. Did not know that. If total loss my car would cost more than 100k(95k after deductible) to replace. wish y'all could go higher on the insured value.

One question: Will my premium rates go down as I get more DE experience?

I used Lockton last year for the first time, after having been with Laurel and then WSIB. So far no claims to test the insurance against.
The Lockton program is really easy to join; I was impressed (and insurance rarely impresses me). I'll be renewing this year.

Although I don't insure my car (only because it's basically worthless), we've had this discussion here before and concluded that ontrackinsurance.com is the hands-down place to go.
Plus, it's run by the hottest shoe in the NE.

Hey, I'm just glad there's more than 1 source.
I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I am glad to make my little premium deposit to the 'if I wreck the car, I won't feel half as bad buying a replacement' fund.
Your approach is smarter than mine (drive an inexpensive car).

Just signed up this morning for an upcoming event. This is a new car for me and the wife so I figured I'd be extra safe on the first outing in it.

By the way our rates did not increase 13% and we have no track surcharges. We are still the only company that writes this coverage with fully "Admitted " insurance company in all states ( Please ask your own insurance broker/agent how important this is )

Too bad you won't cover unregistered cars, but I assume it has something to do with the wording in the policy..

Will do Steve, you may want to edit the FAQ section on your site -
"3: Is my car eligible for coverage under this policy?
Most street registered vehicles are eligible. Full unregistered race cars will not be eligible."

Of course the way you FLEW by me on the restarts may not qualify my car as a "Full unregistered race car"..

Thanks
Gary

Gary - It was great racing with you first of all... fortunately my timing was on for the re starts . I knew I needed to have good restarts to catch up because of the split starts.
I am going to have the wording changed on that page I appreciate it. We have some flexibility on the registration topic. A lot of HPDE participants are building dedicated safer cars that are unregistered.(roll cages etc.) I look at it on a case to case basis. I already know how well you drive so in your case we might be able to work it out.

Steve, sorry if I misspoke on the rate increase. I did the math on the policy I bought in for a March DE and the one I bought for an event w/e before last. Both were 2 day events at the same track(different organization if that matters). Thought it came out about 13-14% higher. If I am wrong it was an honest mistake.

On a separate note, are the premium prices based on the purchaser's experience?

Paver- No problem at all . The rate increase was 10% but we also have a discount of 10% for 3 or more events and a discount of 15% for 6 or more events signed up for and paid for a one time.. The only other change was minimum premium went to $150.

If you e-mail me your real name I can look it up and make sure we don't have a glitch .
