Mant CSR/DSR (the classes in which a Radical competes) cars in SCCA are just Formula cars (Atlantics, Continentals, etc) with bodywork anyway. The bodywork is obviously slicker on the straights, and in some cases, with tunnels, etc they make as much or more downforce than their formula car cousins.

I had the good fortune to finish on the podium (2nd) at the 6 hours there 2 years ago and it is the most fun one can legally have!
I had 2 code brown moments that i remember very well. I at the top of eau rouge where i hit the web curb and someone with better reflexes than me caught it (I was driving but I promise I couldn't do that again!) and another in Pouhon where I early apexed the second left and ended up doing a 360 spin and lossing 1.2 seconds off of the current race pace... I still look at the videos once in a while!
