I don't recall the sun even THINKING about making an appearance last year. All I remember is rain, rain and MORE RAIN!

The somewhat depleted Colorado contingent will be there. We all need a refresher in what color grass is supposed to be. Up here we are dealing with shades of brown! Just can't make the same mistake as a couple of years ago though when on the way down on St. Pat's night, I stopped in a very small town on 287 somewhere near Wichita Falls that was in a dry county thereby doing me out of a beer on March 17! My father would roll over in his grave!

Plenty in E
Even more in BoxSpec
Looking forward to this!

My car suddenly decided to have a no-start problem yesterday afternoon when I was getting ready to do final prep and checkout on it. Grrrrr. I rushed it down to MER at Cresson to see what they can do with it. Hoping it is something stupidly simple. I'm registered for the DE, but if the miata isn't running, I'll just be working grid.

Don't rush it.....

I decided to drill a nice hole centered in my clutch hydrolic line yesterday. Its now 1am and its fixed and bled. Never done that before but it was fairly easy. Lucky to have OK forign close by and knowing the owner is a plus since he will meet me for that "emergency part". Figured Id bleed the brakes and put new front pads while up in the air. What a day...

Had lots of little issues getting ready but I think Im gonna make it. Just a little lead, corner balance, a screw here and there and Im ready to load up.

Whats the beer of choice for this weekend?

Hey Jeff-

Thanks for the early AM update. From 20% to 95% probability in ~12 hrs... I am really impressed! Hopefully your bride will join you, as well!
If I can make it, I will keep my word regarding the Alaskan halibut for the grill (as the carbon footprint grows and grows!)

Call if you need a hand enroute. I'm somewhere between here and there!

Safe Travels,
(The other) Kim

Shiner Bock. The national beer of Texas (no, not Lonestar Beer).

I'm having a hydrolic problem with my clutch myself, peddle won't return to the up position. I raced last weekend with NASA by tying surgical tubing to the peddle with the other end attached to my roll bar. Worked like a charm, so well that I will continue to run the car like that this weekend.

I'll eventually get this worked out, but the surgical tubing works so well not sure why I would ever remove it. Nice fail safe if nothing else, kind of like safety wiring a bolt.
