You are going to want to change that wing out to the Getty cup wing. Did you replace your roof with a sunroof delete factory panel?

No sunroof is still in, just wrapped over it. The sunroof is one of the last little bit of weight left to get rid of someday.
Ran out of money with the wing and the limited slip left to buy. Hope to get them before the end of the year. The wing is a getty club sport, bought it a few years ago before I thought about racing the car. It will do until I can buy the spec 996 one.

Bryan and "The Globe", I'll miss the TWS CR due to our annual family ski trip, but I'll make the Maverick CR in May. Bryan the car looks great, last time I saw it you were still working on the wrap. Sorry to miss the fun, it would be cool to see a group of 996 specs racing. Bill are you planning to run the March race? Hopefully we can all meet again in May.

Will there be tire service there this year? Last year was a problem. Richard, can you talk to your committee and get us an answer sooner rather than later? I'm sure there are others who need to plan differently if there is or is-not going to be tire service.

Thanks,

Keith

I talked to one of the guys from Pro-Teknik and he said they would be present at the CR. They do tire mounting and balancing on site.

I am sure Richard can confirm.

There you go again, spoling the fun for others.

Actually to run in GTB you would have to put Jay's ECU back to a stock configuration. Other than the air intake, the engine needs to be left alone. Otherwise I think it would qualify.

BTW, I think my plans for the NASA Cresson race will be to run the old 911 in GTS-3 for one of the days. Should be a good GTS-3 class as I expect Martin to drop back down, Medina to make it, etc. Sadly, even on my home track, I'll still be racing for 2nd ...

Just trying to add to the fun !
I have a spare ECU so putting Jay's ecu back to stock could be done very easily ! I'm not sure he can get off of work to make it to the March event, too many other things going on.

I wish I could have the Boxster ready in time for Cresson, I suspect it will really like that track.
It's coming along very nicely and looks nothing like you saw it a couple weeks ago, it's kinda naked now. I'll share some pictures soon on that other post.

That sounds like a fun GTS class at Cresson. More and more cars are joining in and with the Spec Box and Spec 996 guys also joining so they have more races each year it should be a lot of fun this year !

Check the rules one more time, I can run at 2975 ... with Cup car brakes, Moton Clubsports, Hoosier slicks, BBS Mag wheels, 2 piece rotors, etc. Autometrics did such a nice job building the car I intend to install a sound system and picking out one of those audio books so I have something to keep me busy.

Now I am confused, where was that published? The 2009 rules have me at 2975 and I referenced the 2010 rule changes here: http://pca.org/portals/cr/2010CR_RulesChanges.pdf and there is no mention of a weight change for me.

Have a link to that document?
