Day 2 of F1 Testing: Massa/Ferrari on top again
#16
This does not seem to be going well for Wayne's hero. The Ferrari is fast without Alonso, and now he will have the burden of keeping it at the front. If Ferrari falters, he will get the lion's share of the blame; something he does not take to very well. And if they win, well it was already a front-runner right out of the box.

I think it's quite clear that Ferrari's engineers have to be given a HUGE amount of credit for the development of the F10. Alonso has had absolutely NO INPUT in this car as today is his his first time in it!!! Couple that with the fact that Massa has not been in it until Monday and you can see that the factory has done a great job.
The key now is to stay in front. Ferrari will have to keep making the car better as Schumacher with Mercedes, to say nothing of McLaren will keep on making improvements as well.

I'm somewhat surprised, but then again, not, that Ferrari looks so good.
I'm surprised it's so good because Ferrari has been going for the "all Italian team" and that usually leads to problem but I'm not because they were the only top running team who went for the "Brawn playbook" after summer and did nothing with their '09 car but instead fully focused on '10 car, we can see the results now.

Wayne told me that Alonso by visiting the Ferrari factory and skiing miserably at their winter festival developed the car and made it fast.

Sorry, I can only base my opinions on astute observations and solid logic. My crystal ball stopped working years ago.
