BF Goodrich G-Force R1

I've used them for 3 seasons on my 944 Cup (now NASA GTS 1 car) and thought they were terrific tires...In the enduros they stayed very consistent all the way through...they will definitely last longer than a Hoosier. My car is definitely not using a sophisticated suspension however and there are hoosier shod cars that are doing better lap times (1/2 to 3/4 second) in the sprint races. I think they are very bit as good and more durable than the other tires out there.

BFG gForce R1 price is about 80% of Hoosier R6.
BFG gForce R1 size selection is smaller than Hoosier R6.
BFG gForce R1 section width is narrower than Hoosier R6.
BFG gForce R1 fits a step-up niche between Nitto NT01 and Hoosier R6, so I'm considering them.

I like them. I found them very durable.
Because of a change in enduro classification, I can no longer run them in 16" size, so I have several 245/45/16 R1's FS (some unused). See the member classifieds.
I will buy 15" ones for next year to be rules compliant.

Having spent extensive time on the R-888's last year by force of class rules, I can say definitively that there is no comparison. I gave away my leftover R-888's when we were allowed to go back to RA-1's. R1's have it all over the R-888.
