brumos got penalized last year after their daytona win after dumping a ton of fluids and coming in light

I'm here gordon! spent the day in the garages, pits, etc. just left dinner with leh and the boys. should be a great race tomorrow.

...uhh...didn't i read recently that Brumos was also running the Lozano Cayenne V-8??

P2 engine is a stressed component of the chassis, the DP does not allow that plus the DP rules require a street based engine. The rules are miles apart which prevents any carryover.
They are running one car as last year, and another car without factory support that has the V8 (Lozano). They had to separate the two cars to keep Porsche's support for the remaining factory car.

Looks like Brumos had tested a V-8 in the Riley chassis...maybe they are not running it for Daytona?
