Hi guys,
I understand how to calculate wheel rate based on spring rate and motion ratios. However, mathematically, how can you determine wheel rate when the arb is active?
I appreciate it thanks

you need to find the angular rate of the bar (in lbs/degree), the motion ratio of the bar (in degrees/inch wheel travel), then multiply the two together
generally though you don't do this

Actually it seems like a good question doesn't it?

944CS is correct in both how you do that and the fact that this is not generally done. The reason is that the front and rear have a couple (interaction) so the number you calculate does not really mean much. You also need to account for chassis stiffness, which can be a major factor in real roll resistance vs. what you would calculate.
