And if any of you have the spare $$ it would be great to pick up some more tracks (but I will stick to included tracks for now). If you buy 6 things at once you get 20% off everything, I would suggest these 6 items for a start:

Tracks
Watkins Glen
Mosport
VIR
Road Atlanta
Road America

Cars
Skip Barber 2000

Default Sunday night Rookie race

Is it possible to log on and observe the racing. I am interested in I-Racing but do not have the equipment necessary to participate. Yet!

From the main iRacing screen select "Hosted", and below that will appear the private race list. Select the green arrow over to the right of the RLL Newbies listing and the password box will appear. Type in 944s2 and your in!

You did fine Mike! It just looks that way because we are all flying off the track all the time! It WAS nice of Joe to give me back the lead on a platter though...

Grab a $20 headset at Radio shack, works great. You do know about the sharing of setups, etc. yes? Next weekend may be on Saturday so as not to interrupt the playoff games but that is up to the majority to decide. Superbowl Sunday will be an off day also...

It was a fun race. I got lucky and stayed on track until the very end. Looking at teh replay I think Michael and I got together while he was doing a bit of a tankslapper going to the left hander. Bummer as it wasn't a hard hit but enough to bend my steering. I also felt sorry for Gary paying the hosting fee and losing...
