All right boys here's the info I just received from Manny...

Happy New Year,
Zone 2 is pleased to announce that it will be returning to VIR for its annual three day DE on March 12-14, 2010. Just like last year, we'll be using the full course all three days. In addition, we'll have our Friday night social and Saturday evening Banquet.

Prices will remain the same as 2009. If you're a PCA member, you get two weeks to register, then the event opens up to non-PCA members.

Registration opens on January 12th at 9AM. Register early. Last year's event sold out in the first three days. Plus, this year we will not be charging your credit card until Feb. 11th!

No group deals that I'm aware of. Usually the rooms at the Lodge and the Garage Suites fill very fast. In addition, I think they give first preference to the event staff, VIR Club Members, those that have stayed there before. At least, that's what i was told a few years back.

I have stayed at the Lodge several times, and it was a nice experience. Does this mean that I have to book now or should we (my wife has an FIA license), take whatever we can?

I CANNOT WAIT... This will be my 3rd year at the Zone 2 in March, last year was a wash out, let's hope for good unusually warm weather this year like in 08 lol...

I suggest you guy's book rooms NOW, they sell out very quick.. I have stayed at the Garage suites which were nice, and in the condos as well.. If you get a mini suite/half downstairs condo it can sleep 3 comfortably (1 main bed, 2 pullouts).

I would recommend booking now if you want to stay inside the track. Otherwise, there's plenty of decent hotels in the Danville and South Boston area.

Can't wait Mike.. At least you had a late season going into winter, I was done by the beginning of September, i i'm itching badly to get on the track ASAP!!!

Would love to go for a ride in your GT3, doubt we could make that happen though, maybe Manny will allow it !

Registration going very well so far. Remember, we won't be charging your credit cards until 30 days prior to the event. So don't panic if you don't see any immediate charge. Only 58 days to go!!!
