I cancelled my subscription earlier this year due to school, but once finals are done I plan on getting back in the game. This looks like alot of fun, the whole "racing with friends" thing must be new..

Good point, maybe we should have a rookie friendly race on one of the included tracks.

it comes with a Solstice and a Legends car IIRC, and maybe Limerock and Lanier (oval). Beyond that yes, cars and tracks are about $12 each and you own them for as long as iRacing exists, even if you unsubscribe and come back later. It is online only, no AI to practice with, just us who-mans..

Again, I for one could care less what we race as long as there is a good turnout. Solstice, Skippy, Legends, Mazda's, Nascar, whatever... Maybe even stick to one car and just do different tracks. I've found that running rFactor on SimRaceway.com even driving formula BMW's on ovals is fun and extremely close using fixed setups. NOT easy to pass!

You can but addition cars for $13 and tracks for $12 or $15. You can race in the official series based on your license or you can host or join a hosted race that doesn't have license requirements - that is what we ran last night. There were rookies up to class A license holders running last night.

I let my subscription lapse, but rejoining to learn Sebring before the Feb. PCA race. This is another good reason to get back on.
I need a new wheel, anyone have feedback on the G25 versus the G27 or Fanatec GT3RS?
