The FL website is down and the shop is closed. I have no insider information, but remember that they were also a reseller of Oakley Design products from the UK, and that company has gotten into trouble.

A 'friend of a friend' worked at FL's shop(until it was closed recently) and i was told two weeks ago that the employee's paychecks all 'bounced'. Also heard that Greg tried to kill himself and some other nasty stuff. Govenment shut the place down and siezed everything.

Really a sad deal..

That is really so sad. I've met alot of the F-L guys in my time in Grand-Am and they are really a nice bunch. It's an especially tough time to be mailing out resumes in the racing industry and I doubt those jobs will be easily replaced...

Default major blowhards

the major blow was opening that smoke and mirror to begin with. guess they didn't sell many Caymen rsgtcwhatevers to tooo many uninformed buyers. Geez, what a brainstorm that was. Ones in the know saw this coming like a freight train full of coal......Yet, that ***** looked every bit the part, as some of his arrogant associates, NOT ALL, just a select few stinkers.
I do feel sad for the people who were sucked in, with or without substantial monetary backgrounds....they didn't see it coming. This business is full of charletans (oops). "They" keep forgetting....you must row with the crew...BEFORE you are considered a Captain.

If it's too good to be true it probably isnt.

Lots of people really suck at the due diligence process.

Was Spencer a mechanic? A crew chief or work in the CT garage?

I wonder about the Grand Am crews, Bob, Steve, Steve, Will, etc. Those guys are all local and really know Porsches better than the back of their hands. Bob has won Le Mans and Grand Am. Some organization is going to get a good pickup.
