Default 2009 Road America Green Sprint Video

It has been awhile since I posted a video. This was a wild race and probably my best so far. I started 4th overall behind Hupfer(E class) , Poetl(SP3), and Ruszel(E class).
Bob Viau, the white E class 944 S2, makes a ballsy 3 wide pass going into one on the 2nd lap. After that it calms down until about the 9:00 min mark.
From that point, it's on. Viau and I start dicing. We pass each other 6 or 7 times. Our dice allows Slawek Ruszel to get back in the mix. Too much fun.
Unfortunately near the end Slawek gets loose in the kink and totals his car. Slawek is great guy, and a blast to race with. I hope to see him back out there next year.

Camera is a Vio-Pov.1

Enjoy!

Good action!
Seems like a lot of steering input to corner your car. ??
Great job!

Great vid Doug! I miss Road America. It reminds me of a spring race a few years ago there in my old F car when 6 of us were nose to tail the entire race! Good stuff on a cold winter morning. Thanks!

Hey,
Glad you guys liked it.
Gums,
Old 911+going fast=steering input.
Sean,
Start was great, I can only do so much with 200 hp.
Hupfer is a Euro SC and has a around 30 hp on me.

Andy,
I wish you were out there with us.

The rest of you guys--
Get to work!

Are you making 210 RWHP with you USA SC? I know I don't.
Maybe THATS"S what they mean by "Conneticut Stock"?

The red S2 is Poeltl, he was running SP3--that let him run 200 lbs lighter than stock E class S2.

Look, it is what it is. I am running prepared. The Euro SC has the best HP/Weight ratio in E.

Poetl and that car are an awesome combination, that car has a jewel of a motor judging how he also walked away from all of us at the NASA Nationals. He's been the benchmark for as long as I can remember.
