I guess that could be an alternative..... if I can transport it to his shop in the middle of winter.....

Might be easier to rent a low hp car and have some fun......

 

At Sebring, your car IS a low HP car! Talk him into a free PU/DO at your house once you negotiate the transport!

Check with tkerrmd or pedsurg. I know they've both rented 944s to race in the past.

 

nick@ntechengineering.com Nick has several championship prepped 944's he rents out and provides support for. We rand them at that event several years ago.

I have a Spec Boxster that could be made available. There is always a group that makes the run from TX so it could hitch a ride and meet you at the track.

 

i was just at the Roebling Road Club race and Pink Porsches were there. I also saw them at the NASA race at VIR. They have nicely prepared cars. Really nice husband and wife team as well. They would be a good option for the race if you wanted to rent.

 

If not your car go down with Tim's crew. Those cars are obviously prepared well and you will have good people to hang with... not Tim, but the other people...

 

Just for that you are NOT invited to hang with us in our personal drivers lounge that we'll have at the track. The guys from Werkstatt will be putting on the ritz for all the Boxster guys that come down!!! Doug, that includes you!! But again NOT YOU GARY!!!!
