Don't know anything about Great Neck impact wrench quality. But I bought the Goodyear branded impact wrench from Pepboys a couple of years ago for $70 or so and it's still going strong on the original battery. And I use it a lot at the track and at home in the garage. But it's no skin off my nose either way. I just saw it and thought I'd pass it along.
I bought the same Goodyear IW your talking about and it's still going strong. I'm not a big fan of the NiCd battery powered anything and will buy Lithium whenever possible, but I must say the Goodyear unit's been good especially after sitting for a while.
