Default New 2 liter 911 Race engine

Guys,

I'm selling a spare engine. Specs are as follows:

901 Shop Twin Plug 2.0 Liter Engine

Early Aluminum Case
CNC Ported heads with Titanium Valves by Xtreme Cylinder Heads.
2" Journal lightened crankshaft by Pauter Machine.
Aluminum Case with oil bypass mods, piston squirters, knife-edged, and dowel pinned.
GT3R oil pump.
Square cut lightweight intermediate gear.
Aluminum Sprockets.
Pauter long rods with 19mm pin.
901 Shop Design two ring JE Piston.
Aluminum fin iron sleeve cylinders by JB Racing.
901 Shop Designed Camshafts on new billets by Web Cam.
46mm PMO Carburetors
Twin Plug Distributor with crank trigger.
901 Shop SS exhaust headers.
Lightened flywheel.
906 Small Fan and Housing (replica).
Pipercross air cleaners.

Approx HP 245, it will be dynoed next week.

That is beautiful Juan. I'm afraid that I'd end up putting it in my living room instead of my car.
I can remember when a $20K was a bunch in HSR. How times change.

Ah Stuttgart those were the days of 200 to 210 HP on the engines.... To get over that (needed to be competitive) a much larger investment is required. These days an FIA engine costs more than $20K. I miss those days too....

Mr Bill, the regular one is "somewhat similar" ....

I forgot to mention, back int he $20K days the engines used to last no more than 20 hours..... They last more than double that now. So figure a flat $1000/hour depreciation...

My cup car engines are cheaper to run, wow. Too bad the rest of the cup car does not follow suit!

$1k an hour.....way too steep for me!! But then again my last "rebuild" lasted about 90 minutes and cost $7k.....maybe its not so bad aferall

$1K per hour to buy, a very small fraction for rebuilds. Typical rebuilds $5-$10. Don't forget this is a whole ready to plug in engine.... Running costs are less than most big motors.
