Default Undisputed evidence of the difference between F1 and NASCAR

For those of you watching Speed's coverage of the F1 race this AM, near the end of the race there was undisputed evidence of the difference between F1 and NASCAR.

All race Speed kept cutting to shots of super models and almost super models wandering the paddock. Contrast with RV America's commercial starring Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Wallace, straight from NASCAR, right at the end of Speed's coverage.

Apparently Mrs. Wallace's main reason to RV is to stick close to the refrigerator and her other gig is shilling for Old Country Buffet.....yikes

VR, I dare you to find a picture of her at a beach and use that for your avatar for a week....

The other difference: Even a "boring" restrictor plate NASCAR race at Talledega was 100 times more exciting than the parade at Abu Dhabi.

Really? It looked like the NASCAR boys were driving for a quart of milk until 15 laps to go. JJ went from 30th to 6th just waiting for 5 laps to go and everyone wrecking in front of him.

For a street course, Abu Dhabi had some side by side action with the best being a rookie in his 2nd race passing the new WDC.

A NASCAR race is like the baseball regular season. Boring, lead changes mean nothing, phantom yellows to close the field together until the last few laps when they actually race. How do people sit through 4 hours of that stuff? TIVO until the last 10 laps and your fine.

VR, who is the chick in the silver dress with the ***** squeezed together? Tasty!

I watched both races (Abu Dhabi and Talladega) and in my opinion I did not find Talladega very interesting from a racing perspective. Although I do prefer F1 in general, I have watched and enjoyed a fair amount of NASCAR this season. However, yesterday’s race was really just a lottery at the end. I think JJ could hardly believe his luck!

The last few laps of the F1 race were VERY exciting between Button and Webber.

Better than Formula 1 where nothing happens at all. I used to be a die hard F1 fan... no more.

this is why I like ALMS and Grand Am...
Nothing beats the end of the Laguna Seca ALMS race.... or Sebring last year...
