well after having gone back home to the UK for the holiday and missed valuable car work time (although my wife did not ee it this way ) I thought I had better crack on. Saturday I finished prep and masked off and laid down a few coats of primer. This is the most satisfying part when you change from a mess to a blank canvas then to laying color. For a race car eing painted in a garage I am pretty pleased with the results. Needs wet sanding then buffing but should be good for vinyl later this month.

Great posts. I've enjoyed watching this build, and I'm always amazed at what Rennlister's are able to pull off in their garages.
I can only hope that all that unregulated spraying is contributing to global warming and chasing away that Arctic cold front!

It is marine blue, I was put onto it by Gary and got it from the restoration shop ( http://www.tcpglobal.com/restorationshop/rspcolors.aspx ). It actually looks better in daylight than on the pictures
