Who's in? Looks like we will get a few inches of rain this week but clearing for the weekend. Not too many signed up so we should get lots of track time with very little traffic.

I plan to be there. Looks like some cool and sunny weather with a cold track in the AM. Not much fun with slicks. I'll get to see how the new Hoosiers do with low temps. The Michelin 8D's I had last year were terribly slow to build heat.

I'll be there. Should be ideal (read cool) weather. R6s heat pretty quickly, so no worries here. I was there in January 2008 for a PCA event when it snowed overnight and the temps stayed very low. This will be a party compared to that.

Hey Tim,
Wish I could come but the thermostat stuck in the first sprint race at Daytona and I smoked yet another motor this year....

Couldn't do another "fix" in the pits like at the BMW event.

Might have another built by November for the PBOC race though.

Susan would love another ride around the track though

Sorry to hear about the engine, get another put in asap. PBOC race is a blast, lot's of track time at that event.

I'm thinking about upgrading, want a 968 engine or two or three?

Zmann, glad to see that you're going to be there. Can't put a face and name together for anyone else. I haven't been to Barber in over a year and a half but remember paddock layout very well. I plan to arrive early and get a spot on tier 1 which will be to the right as you are descending and on same level as tower and restrooms. If you want me to fudge a little extra space so we can pit together, fine by me.
Would like to put names with faces for some of you other guys so I'll be down and right with a silver 996 with a bit ole' CF wing on the back.

Z, you guys will probably lap me in the AM session before I can get the Hoosiers functioning properly. You're right, the R-6's do heat up pretty quickly. The report I saw calls for 36 degrees Sunday AM. At least no rain. Should be a great weekend. Hopefully for me the first one all this season and into last that I can finish without car problems.

I'm staying at Best Western as I always do.
