The NEW AZ track .....

I havent been down just yet - but I heard to get there is still "dirt and gravel" - Take a trailer if you go down (at this time - 10/12/09)

An approx. 2.75 mile road course consisting of 18 turns.
The track can be bifurcated into 2 separate circuits allowing 18 unique configurations.
Nearly 1 mile of straights.
Nearly 100' elevation change.
A quarter-mile drag strip.
3800' runway.
Airplane hangar.
Private on-site garage units for lease.
An approx. 1 mile Kart course.
Skid pad area.
Observation Lounge and Control Tower.
Clubhouse overlooking the entire track area.
Observatory with high powered telescopes.
RV park
Potential to purchase residential lots for development.
Horse stables and roping arena.
Hundreds of acres of trails for horse riding, ATVing, mountain biking, and hiking.
Skeet shooting, horseshoes, and bocce ball.
Large barbecue and dining area with on-site chef.
350+ days of track and ranch time per year.
Large paved and landscaped paddock

Track is still not ready for prime time. Right now it just a ribbon of asphalt in the desert miles away from any paved road. When I mean ribbon of asphalt it is just that. Run off track you will get catcus in the tires. It is possible it could be improved, but I will wait to see. I can't see how they can operate that place off of 5-15 miles of dirt road to get there.

From what Ive heard - the road leading into the place ...lets say ...sucks. Need a trailer - Give it a year or so ...hopefully itll b up to par then.

Well that's better than up in Reno when the guy first opened..........off track could mean either flying off a 10' cliff or hitting a boulder. Or both! Was shocking to review my tapes after doing a couple of test days, how much you don't see when you're at speed.

Hope this track develops though. It's likely we'll have a vacation home down there sometime down the road.
