Default Enduro

I think the August NJMP Club Race format for Sunday was better. We had one Sprint Race in the AM and then a 60 Minute Enduro in the PM. For those without a co driver, the 60 Minute Enduro on a shorter track works. Also, most vehicles do not need the fuel, so pit support is not an issue. 90 Minutes at Summit Point is hard on the driver and the car, while 90 minutes at VIR is not so bad.

Limerock is 60 minutes and the Glen is 90, makes perfect sense. They could make the Glen 2 hours and it would suit me just fine!

Actually I think the rules still mandate a pitstop for a 60 minute enduro. At least at Putnam, there was still a required 5 minute pitstop for the 60 minute enduro. I think it would have to be a 59 minute "enduro" to eliminate the pitstop...

Of course there are always time constraints when it gets late Sunday afternoon... But it sounds like a lot of racers were grabbing for their patches instead of their helmets on Sunday...

60 minutes is a 5 minute stop. Driver can remain in-car, no refueling allowed.
