Thanks. Yeah, that whole thing is a little weird to me, in fact, it was weird while we were in the pits. We couldn't figure out why they didn't reset the field. I appreciate the third in class in the hottest class in BMWCCA racing, but I know that isn't really where I am at this point with my car and experience. I figured Sunday I may have been a legitimate 5-7th with the field that started.

The flag proceedure was strange in the Friday race. A full yellow would have been appropriate and then pull everyone in if need be. Some folks are talking about throwing a red flag? Now, I'm a rook for sure, but there was never a need for a red. If I'm missing it, certainly fill me in.

Two things. I agree that a full course yellow being switched to a black flag all would have been the appropriate procedure. That said, the way our rules currently read, a BFA condition is only appropriate after a red flag. The stewards made a game time decision, as they are allowed, to ignore that rule, but I think they should have gone FCY before BFA for sure. I suspect this will be one rule that gets discussed for change for the 2010 ruleset.

I completely agree. All we had were a couple of cars that had to be cleaned up. My impression of a red flag situation is a seriously hairy event that either prevents the race cars from getting to the pits or a situation that demands that cars stop NOW.

Just kidding. That was us up there watching you two jokers go at for a few laps. That had to be some good racing for you. Did you get any in-car footage?
I had to keep my eyes up looking for black flags at the top of the hill...

Nice finally meeting you Tucker. I stayed and ran the very last run, which ended up being almost a private session of wide open track! Didn't get home til 2am though, and had to be at work at 7! And thanks Danny for letting me try your new GT3!

Thanks, Sean, great video! I saw your start Sunday. A pure drag race to T-1. The video was fun to watch, but you are running the wrong tire. You should try the Michelin LTX series and I would suggest the A/T tread, as in all terrain. That was ballsy just past the start/finish, I wish you had stuck the pass.

lol, i need some all-terrains. Those e30's were trying to kill me, must be the green car blending in too much.
