Beautiful, cool weather. Track is clean but dusty. Should be fun!

Had to bail on Hallett this year in favor of watching my daughter's roller derby team, the Denver Roller Dolls try to win the Western Regional tournament in Denver. Sorry to miss you all, but less so after hearing about this morning's rain. Hope it clears for Sunday's sprints.

3rd in class in Sprint #1. Second in class in Sprint #2. 1st in class in Sprint #3.

It rained for the first practice session this morning. Brad Boyd and I had fun on track.

BIG KUDOS to Brad for helping me change from rains to dry's before Sprint #2. I *OWE* you BIG TIME Brad.

Third year for me at Hallett. It was GREAT! If you didn't make it, you should.

Kim, good to meet you in person. Toby, great runs and times. I had a lot of sorting to do on my car Fri. but we got it done and set my personal best durring qualifying. 1:24.6 Had a blast. Finished the red group 5th overall in all three sprints and second in class. The rain race was fun. Spun off and killed the car in the second or third lap. I had a hard time starting the car but once up and running I came back and still finished 5th overall running a 1:35 ish in the very slick rain on Hoosiers.

Awsome running with Keith and Cory. Very fast drivers. I needed that 200 pound advantage to keep them off me in the end...

Hope everybody made it home safe.

Hallett was a blast! It is a great track and the mgmt is very friendly. I will go again next year.
I had a lot of fun. Wish I could have stayed the whole day Sunday but had to be at work Monday morning.

Toby: You would have done the same for me. The weather just caught us out. It just needed to rain a little longer...... I though you drove well all weekend.

You'll need to come up there with us next year.

I was really hoping for rain and we just waited too long to change tires; track dried too quickly!!!!!!!!!! My plan was to leave after the 1st spint. My dries were already racked and did not even have the right pressures.

See you at TWS in a couple of weeks.

The Sunday morning sprint on the wet track was a hoot. I was on treaded tires following West Dillard who was on full slicks. He was sideways EVERYWHERE a very impressive demonstration of car control.

Only 4 of us made it down from Colorado this year. I had a blast - track is a lot of fun. By the end of the weekend, I felt like I improved as a driver. The practice session in the rain was an experience (I'm the one that they got on video in slow-mo).

Any of you guys would have done the same.

Hey, thanks again for the right seat input you gave me @ MSR. I implemented some of those concepts and they really transferred well over to Hallett.

Brad
