Default Petit Le Mans question

So I lucked up in getting a hot pit pass with my ticket this year. I'm really excited about it, but I've never hung out in the pits before. I don't plan to spend the entire weekend there but I would like to make the most of it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on things to make sure I do (or not to do) while in the pits? Any teams that would be cooler to talk to or hang with than others? Tips or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

the hot pits are a lot of fun if you've got friends in the paddocks, but mostly it's cool to look into the tents in between stops as the crews line everything up, drivers decompress, etc.

I've been in the hot pits at Laguna and Daytona 24HR- petit should be more intense and stressful for the crews like daytona because it's next years qualifier for 24 hr Lemans race.

oh yeah and one more thing...

I guess it will be a muddy mess in the spectator and parking areas ?

Been looking forward to going Saturday, but with all the rain and a good chance for more, has me thinking about just watching on TV again this year

Naw- it'll be ok. But the PorschePlatz should be a muddy mess (instead of usual red dust).

Sit in the stands overlooking 10a/10b. Should be fine there.
