Two things are in play here. First off, Max is out of office starting next month. He is going to take down as many of his enemies as possible. The person who is alleged to have set up or at least had cameras when Mosley had the **** hookers around is Ron Dennis. RD is out.

Bria tore also turned on Mosley and received his lifetime ban. If Mosely could get something on Luca Di Montezemelo before next month, he would.

The 2nd thing is that Bernie doesn't want to lose Renault as a constructor or engine supplier, especially after losing Honda and BMW within a years time. Hence the "non penalty/Suspension" against Reanult.
The "vendetta" theory resonates with me. The sanctions handed out in this instance seem rather disproportional compared to Schumacher deliberately taking out Hill - not just to win a race but the WDC, followed by his obvious and deliberate attempt to take out Jacques Villeneuve and finally the transparent attempt to disrupt qualifying "crash" at Monaco. Ban, suspension, uh, no. This seems rather inconsistent apart from the fact that Mosley had no motive to get even with Michael and or Ferrari.

Best,

[QUOTE=Veloce Raptor;6921321]Amazing also that the team incurred zero penalty, nor any sacrifice of the Barcelona win, its points, or their 2008 WC standings. IMO, this "punishhment" is nothing but a slap on the wrist. These Eurotrash asshats running F1 and the FIA are 100% corrupt to the core.

Put's a whole new light on what type of punishment "they" handed to Mac for having Big Red's "classified" materials. I would have to say that Renault's actions were much more detrimental to the sport than Mclaren's.
Again, there is no favortism nor consistency in F1!

Just imagine what the 'punishment' would have been for say...Mclaren. Slap on the wrist doesn't even begin to describe how **** poor this has all been managed.
