They won't allow you to have a passenger doing test and tune. If it is important to you to have an instructor contact Laura Cobetto and change your Friday sessions to " Advanced DE Open track " . It is for advanced DE'rs but you can have a passenger. The rules for passing are anywhere with a signal.

I have secured an instructor for Friday and had to go this route.

Oh. and wonger is " Magnetic one "

"Magnetic1"

Jeff Curtis is the chief instructor and will be there also. Drives a 964 in GTS3. I may make the race, but would practice on Friday with the racing test/tune. BTW NASA is very helpful with drivers and I am sure could arrange a track ride on Friday. You would certainly benefit as it takes a couple of days learning the fast way around VIR full course. Erice Wong is insanely fast around VIR in his M3 (GTS3 car).

LOL. I am Magnetic1. But I dont have a passenger seat and I am not THAT fast at VIR. Talk to dmwhite....

JF: I will be there on Friday doing nothing but hanging out. If you want, come find me and I'll be happy to ride with you.

There is someone on NASAForums looking for a roomie at the VIR Villas. Super nice over there and he is asking $170/3 nights. Beats staying at the Sleep Inn!

Plus 1 on the Villas. Fantastic view from the balcony of the uphill S's and the back straight.
