I agree it looks like curtains, I hope Ghosn makes every effort to hand Alonso's head on a plate to the FIA also. There should be no protection of the guilty parties in this one.

Agreed. This is TWO MAJOR SCANDALS that the little Spanish princess has been involved in over the span of 3 years.

If Ferrari does indeed hire Little Miss Sunshine after all this, it will be very unfortunate.
Up until yesterday it was all about if Nelsinho is lying he's toast in F1. What about the other driver? The one that stirs the pot and benefits from it all. I just can't believe any team would want to deal with such a liability.
Oh yeah, Briatore is a douche

No so sure Renault is out of F1
This quote from f1technical.net.
Yesterday it was revealed that Symonds would not get punished for the alleged race fixing scandal in Singapore last year. As is now clear, he had no choice but to leave the team together with Flavio Briatore in order to secure Renault's Formula One operations.
I wonder if the FIA got their pound of flesh and in return Renault get to stay in F1 sans penalty or suspension?

Little Miss Sunshine was able to squirm her way out of the Stepneygate row, especially the text messages between De La Rosa (test driver) and herself regarding the on track performance of the "modifications"....so I'm sure she will get out of this in a similar fashion....even though I find it remarkable that some like LMS would not question starting from 15th with only 12 laps of fuel....even everyone up and down pit road after the race had to wonder.
Perhaps Santander having announced 2 sponsorship packages (Ferrari and McLaren) is an early sign that perhaps Luca might have a way out...
I would still like to know WHY they did it.
Because it was an F1 race in Spain and LMS simply had to podiu?
Because LMS contractually needed a win for her resume/bonus/contract?
