Although i started this thread, I had forgotten about a prior commitment for that specific weekend. I am out.

My POS Hot Lap transmitter or receiver never gave me any lap times, so I have no idea what I was doing. I seriously doubt if I hit the 23's (but also wasn't driving at a full-on race pace or qualifying pace).

Bob Scotto did 1.24s in his old F (now E) car. That should give you something to shoot.

Mark, don't give him any info. Glen is fast enough. He has plenty of data from the DE before the NASA race. I ran a bunch of 23flats on MPSCs before the NASA race, but never had fast race laps since I was tangled up with Curtis for almost every lap of both races. On R6's , I would say a clean lap would be a low 22, but freakin Wonger is running 21's ( I think he using A6's).

Maybe I could run GTS5 and come down. Just don't want to add crap back in the car to be compliant with stock PCA rules ( I would have to run H anyways).

The best entertainment was Jeff and I making a sandwhich in the carousel with a lapped car. Neither of us would concede and we ran 3 wide from T6 to T9 in the rain. The poor guy in the Honda was being pushed back and forth as we used him as a pawn. I finally stacked him wide in T9 and Jeff lost momentum having to go around in the middle. I wish I had a camera running. Scott that rain really never cleared the track after Friday. On Thurs, Friday we had a clean track, just really hot and humid.

fyi, there are a couple of G class guys coming up from Carolinas in RSA's. Rob Purviance. and Bill Williams. They are pretty fast at CMP and Road Atlanta, but have never been to Summit. I would be going if my racing budget was not already spent for the year.

Going to be a big G class!

Edit: then again, looking at the roster...only 3 in G class including the Carolinas boys?

Paolo, did you cancel from this event, or did you not sign up yet?

Yes and no. I believe the there is a 103 db limit but i have

never heard of anyone being yanked for sound.

And there have been some obnoxious cars out there.

Too bad, it looks like quite an impressive roster in F class. There should be some good battles there.

No problem. Todd Reid's aka "Reidspeed" Probe is around 108db according to Todd and he has no issues there.

I have never had any problems with noise as I run Summit Point often.... and my car screams high db's with Peter Dawe's Yikes pipe.
