Brian, I was there for a DE 2 years ago and half of the time it was snowing......I must have blocked the whole event off......

Looking forward in racing with you there......

Mark..... are the soft shell crabs still available at the beginning of October?

Summit is a fun track when the pavement stays down. I haven't been there in a couple of years, heard they repaved it, it lasted about two weeks, they did it again... and yes, i know, Fred doesn't need pavement

It's one of my favorite events. It's a fun track to race on, the region is a great group of guys and the BBQ dinner is to freaking die for.

the only downside as far as I'm concerned is that there is a good chance that you will hit a deer or some other form of wildlife on the track.

It's West Virginia, so beware the two legged wildlife... The Potomac de is with the race, I, too would like to know if there is a DE or T&t on Thursday

so true. last DE I did there, Bambi was running down the front on the grass and I was hoping she wasn't going to cross over before I got past her. Either way, I'll be for the club race.

The deer aren't a problem, I just point them bye as they're also faster than I am (they cheat too).

Paolo,

I'm not sure about softshell crabs. It's been a while since I've had a spider sandwich, but, boy, are they good if fried correctly.

I just realized there is no Thursday DE event......

Is the format: practices on Friday, 2 sprint races on Saturday and a 90 min. enduro on Sunday?.....

Summit Point is a great track... however, I was there two weeks ago and the track conditions are pretty bad. Turn 1 is an absolute mess, as is Turn 4 through the entire carousel. I just don't understand why they can't figure out how to manage the surface at that track.
