I had the same problem after winter. Sprayed some WD40 in the top/bottom and let it sit a few minutes before I started cranking on it. Worked like a charm.

Yea it does!!! Slow and difficult to position the car properly.

Well, to keep it in line with the "CT Stock" theme I was going to say "IL Stock" but it just didn't sound right...

check the threads on the shaft and follower. If they wear out the follower will jam up under load. If so you can do all kinds of heroic crap to try and extend the service life or get as new one cheap and spend the saved time drinking beer and watching races on the TEVO. Can't help with the Octo.

Still waiting on my wheels too. Getting the "I don't know what is going on at the factory" crap from them.

Yep, just saw that a new one is only $35.. I'll let it go until winter then worry about it next year...

In my world that would read next spring when I am getting ready and have a busy day loading up for the track I will be reminded that I did not replace the f-ing jack yet.
